Self-hosted by default

Runs on your infrastructure, on your terms. Candidate data never leaves a server you control, and no one can raise your price at renewal.

A public job board, with SEO

Career page templates and a builder for your own. Fast, indexable, emits schema.org JobPosting markup, and yours — not a subdomain buried three clicks deep on someone else's platform.

API-first, always

REST API v1, webhooks, API keys from day one, and outgoing notifications to Slack and email. Build the integration you actually need instead of waiting on a vendor's roadmap.

Security & compliance

Built for teams who handle real candidate data.

Self-hosting already means candidate data never leaves infrastructure you control. On top of that, Harly ships the access controls and GDPR tooling a hiring pipeline actually needs — not legal advice, but a serious starting point.

Passkeys & 2FA

WebAuthn passkeys and two-factor authentication on every account — on by default for admins, not an upsell.

SSO / SAML & OIDC

Wire up Okta, Google Workspace, Azure AD, or any standard IdP from Settings. No Enterprise tier, no extra license.

RBAC & organizations

Role-based access control and workspace isolation, so people only ever see what their role allows.

GDPR data controls

Candidate data export, authenticated deletion requests, and configurable retention — reviewed workflows, not bolted on.

Audit logs & consent

Every sensitive action leaves a trail. Consent evidence and activity logs, scoped per workspace.

Responsible disclosure

Found a vulnerability? Report it privately through GitHub Security Advisories — maintainers coordinate a fix, never a public issue.

Integrations

Plugs into the tools you already use.

Native connections for scheduling, messaging, storage, and email — on top of the public REST API and signed webhooks for everything else. AI is optional: bring your own OpenAI or Anthropic key, or skip it entirely.

Comparison

Same job. Different bill.

Five products side by side. Pricing is pulled verbatim from each vendor's own pricing page (as of July 2026). Harly is self-hosted and open source; the rest are hosted SaaS.

Pricing

Pricing without a seat tax.

Run it free, forever. Pay only if you want someone else to run it for you. No per-seat line item, no renewal surprise, no “contact sales for the real price.”

Self-host
$0forever, MIT licensed

  • Full ATS: pipeline, scorecards, notes, talent pool
  • Public job board with SEO + schema.org markup
  • Passkeys, 2FA, and SSO (SAML / OIDC), no seat limits
  • GDPR tooling: data export, retention, consent, audit logs
  • Candidate portal for applicants to track their own status

  • Deploy with the CLI wizard (Docker, Railway, Fly.io, DigitalOcean)
  • Community support on GitHub
Need it managed?
Let’s talkwe'll deploy and run it for you

Same product, zero infrastructure work on your end. We deploy Harly on your cloud account (or ours), handle upgrades, and hand you the keys. No separate paid tier, no feature gate — just a service fee for the ops work.

  • Everything in Self-host, nothing held back
  • Managed Postgres, backups, and upgrades
  • Deployment on your infra or ours
  • Direct line to the maintainers

Every plan ships the full product — pipeline, job board, API, webhooks. No feature paywall. No per-seat pricing. Ever.

FAQ

Questions a pricing page doesn't answer.

Still stuck? Open an issue on GitHub or emailhello@harly.dev. A human replies, usually the same day.

Can I migrate my existing candidates and jobs into Harly?

Yes. Harly has a built-in CSV importer for candidates with column mapping, plus a REST API (/v1/candidates, /v1/jobs, /v1/applications) that accepts the same fields. Export your data from whatever you're using today, map the columns once, and it's in your own Postgres — nowhere else.

Does Harly support SSO?

Yes, out of the box, on self-host, for free. SAML 2.0 and OIDC are both built in — wire up Okta, Google Workspace, Azure AD, or any standard IdP from Settings. No Enterprise tier, no extra license.

Where does candidate data live, and is it GDPR-friendly?

Wherever you put the Postgres instance — your laptop, your cloud account, your on-prem rack. Nothing leaves that server; there's no third-party service in the loop. Harly is single-tenant by design (one organization per deployment), ships candidate data export and deletion flows, and a retention/anonymization job you can turn on for stale records.

What about backups?

It's your Postgres instance, so it's your backup strategy — the self-host docs cover a pg_dump cron and WAL archiving if you want continuous recovery. If you'd rather not run ops yourself, we can deploy and manage it for you — see the pricing section.

Are there limits on jobs, candidates, or team members?

No. There's no seat tax and no artificial caps anywhere in the product — the only ceiling is your own Postgres instance.

What do I need to run it myself?

Node 22+ and PostgreSQL 16. The `npx @harly/cli` wizard handles the rest — it deploys via Docker, or straight to Railway, Fly.io, or DigitalOcean App Platform. (Not Vercel — Harly is a long-running Node process with Postgres, which doesn't fit a serverless function model.) Full requirements are in the self-hosting guide.

Is the roadmap public? Can I contribute?

Yes. Track feature work and bugs on GitHub Issues, and we merge good PRs. MIT-licensed means you can fork the whole thing today, change any line, and never owe us a thing.

Quick start

One command. Guided setup. Your Harly.

No cloning, build step, or provisioning ticket. Answer a few prompts and the CLI does the rest. Runnpx -y @harly/cliand let the wizard take it from there.

  1. 01

    Run the CLI

Launch the guided installer without cloning or building anything.

  2. 02

    Meet the wizard

The CLI welcomes you and checks Docker, ports, DNS, and the host before it writes anything.

  3. 03

    Choose your setup

Set the public URL, owner email, organization, storage, and resource profile in one guided flow.

  4. 04

    Generate and launch

Review the installation plan, generate the stack, then finish the first owner setup in Harly.

Open source

MIT licensed. Read every line. Change any of them.

No black box, no vendor lock-in. Fork it, self-host it, or send a pull request. Harly is built in the open on GitHub and stays that way. MIT means you can adapt it for your team and ship it on your own terms.
